Facial Acupuncture and Guasha
90-minute session
At Evoke, facial care brings precise acupuncture together with the warmth of red light and the attentive touch of facial massage. We focus on the changes you want to address, from fine lines to facial tension. Our treatments aim to support circulation, encourage collagen production, and leave your complexion looking refreshed.
What your treatment entails
Facial Acupuncture
Fine needles are placed around areas of fine lines, wrinkles, muscle tension, and loss of firmness, with point selection tailored to you.
25 minutes of red light
Relax with the needles in place while receiving 25 minutes of Red Light Therapy with the Celluma Pro.
Massage, guasha & cupping
Once the needles are removed, your treatment continues with facial massage, guasha, and cupping.
Treatment frequency recommendations
For the most visible results, we recommend a series of 10 sessions over 6 to 10 weeks, followed by monthly sessions for maintenance. Your practitioner can adjust the schedule to your skin and goals.
Facial Guasha
Facial guasha is a gentle massage technique rooted in Chinese medicine. Your practitioner glides a smooth-edged tool over the face and jaw with light, controlled strokes, adapting the pressure to your skin and comfort.
The massage may help ease facial muscle tension and encourage relaxation. It may also soften the appearance of puffiness, leaving the face looking refreshed.
Facial massage, guasha, and cupping are included in your facial acupuncture appointment after the needles are removed. They complete your session with attentive, hands-on care.

Microneedling
60-minute session
Microneedling is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. These very fine needles create tiny punctures in the skin to help stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture and reduce wrinkles, acne scars and hyperpigmentation. It can also be known as collagen induction therapy.
During microneedling, needles will go to a depth of about 0.25mm to 1.5mm depending on the patient. It’s important to do this treatment with a trained professional to ensure proper technique, use of sterile equipment, and the ability to adjust the treatment according to individual skin type and concerns.
We recommend sessions once per month for an optimal glow.
What your treatment entails
Prepare
We assess your skin and apply numbing cream to help ease discomfort during treatment.
Rest under red light
Next, rest under the Celluma Pro for 25 minutes of Red Light Therapy. This gives the numbing cream time to take effect while you receive the benefits of red light.
Microneedling & serum
Your practitioner uses sterile equipment and tailors the needling to your skin type and concerns. Our treatment includes a stem cell-infused hyaluronic acid serum, selected to complement the session.
Benefits of Microneedling
Improved Skin Texture & Tone
Microneedling encourages skin renewal and may help smooth uneven texture and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Reduced Acne Scars
Collagen remodeling may help soften the appearance of acne scars and improve uneven skin. Results develop gradually and vary by scar type.
A Brighter, More Even Complexion
Microneedling may help with some forms of uneven pigmentation. Your practitioner will assess your skin and dark spots to determine whether treatment is appropriate.
Increased Collagen Production
The skin’s repair response stimulates collagen production, which may improve firmness and elasticity over a series of treatments.
Skincare After Treatment
Microneedling temporarily changes the skin barrier, so product choice matters. Follow your practitioner’s aftercare plan and guidance on when to resume your usual skincare products.

A few things
you may be wondering.
Which treatment should I book?
Facial Acupuncture and Guasha · 90 minutes
Choose this if you want a relaxing session that combines facial acupuncture with red light, facial massage, guasha, and cupping. It is a good starting point when your priorities include facial tension and time to unwind.
Microneedling · 60 minutes
Consider this if your main goals are improving uneven skin texture, fine lines, or acne scars. The session includes numbing cream, red light, and microneedling. Plan for some redness or sensitivity afterward, which may last several days, and follow your practitioner’s aftercare instructions.

Can I combine treatments?
A Facial Acupuncture and Guasha session should not be done on the same day as microneedling.

For facial acupuncture, we recommend 10 sessions over 6 to 10 weeks, then monthly maintenance.
For microneedling, we recommend monthly visits.
